Let the Image of Jesus Shine Forth in You

From the Letters of St. Paul of the Cross -

Let the image of Jesus Christ shine forth in you. He who lives in union with Jesus resembles him even externally, because he lives as Jesus lived.  The road which leads to holiness is the one which the Lord give you strength to walk; it is the road he himself walked. Be happy to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, and to be “scorned by men and despised by the people”, to be hidden from the eyes of the world, and to do in everything what God desires.  The Passion of Jesus is the greatest and most overwhelming work of God’s love. It is the most outstanding miracle of God’s infinite love.
