New Passionist Nuns Monastery

On 9 July 2017, the Feast of Our Lady of Holy Hope, the new Passionist Nuns Monastery of Our Lady of Holy Hope, at Ministeracres, (UK) was solemnly blessed.

Visitors over the previous year had watched the new building emerge on the footprint of what was the old workshops that were long derelict at the Retreat Centre. In its place appeared a beautiful single story building in local stone designed by its inhabitants, Mother Regina and Mother Monica, working together with local architects.

Fr. Jereon Hoogland, C.P., the Rector of Ministeraces said: “The Passionist Nuns bring with them another dimension of the community life through their contemplative presence. I hope they will be an anchor providing prayerful support to everything that takes place at the Ministeraces Retreat Centre.”
