15th September Our Sorrowful Mother

15th September is the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. Interpreting the traditional sentiment, the 1964 Passionist General Chapter decreed by unanimous acclamation the recognition of the Sorrowful Virgin as the principal patroness of the Passionist Congregation.
